If only words could make it better...

The last couple of days have been pretty tough in my personal life, seeing someone go through pain isn't very nice and I just hope things get better...
On a different and happier note I have been going buying a few bits and bobs which has me all excited for Autumn/Winter I'm still on the hunt for the perfect winter coat as the coat which I was going to get (the leather sleeve khaki jacket) every and their mothers seem to have! Sigh now but I have been looking at the River Island website they seem to have a lot of great things atm so my potential jacket could be there, have a look out for my September payday wish list and you could see my picks

University is starting this week which means I'm officially going to be starting my postgrad and the thought of it is quite scary and exciting at the same time, I know being a post grad is going to be totally different from a Undergrad but I do want to enjoy this year before I start having a proper full time job! (don't even want to think about that either! ) One little of perk of going to uni though is the Student discount and the Student events which I'm looking forward too as I didn't do those kind of things before!

Anyway on to the outfit I wore yesterday, this All Saints T-shirts that I got from Bicester Village when I went to visit my family, its actually for guys but I adore it anyway, its super soft and sits at the right length and i think the print on the top is quite unique :) I'm still going through my Maxi skirt/dress phase so I wore this H&M grey maxi dress as a skirt and paired off with my Mint green Converse for a more casual look and also so I can get more use out my Converse's. To top off the outfit my trusty bag that I haven't stopped using and if you guys are interested you can get this bag online on the Select Clothing website. I really like this look at the moment, the casual but grungy look, i really hope i can incorporate this into my uni clothes and not just chuck on anything for lectures! haha anyone else do that?

But in reality....

Hope you guys are enjoying last of our "summer" I always think the sunnier days are at the end of summer around this time and it actually feels like summer, but either way I never know how to dress for summer and wearing all black isn't very summer appropriate but I seem to be having a thing for black at the moment. I'm loving this Shirt from Primark which only cost me £12.00 good price for a shirt with Stud details but it can be a bit expensive for regular Primark Shoppers! The Shirt itself is quite Sheer so you would need to wear a tank underneath but it gorgeous and I love that the spots are made up of velvet. I feel like you can wear anything with Black and I know I'll get my uses out of it so watch out for this little Shirt in future posts :). I paired it with my good old pleather shorts from Peacock! (Yes Peacocks) which I've wore to death on nights out last year and love it and so worth it as it looks more expensive than what I paid. Even though the outfit is all black I still love the look, does anyone like sticking to one colour sometimes? hope you guys having a awesome day x

You bring me joy..

Getting back into into the good old outfit posts! haha. Todays outfit has some of my favourite things I mentioned in my last post: studs and leather! I thought this Army print number was lovely as I wanted somethings with Army Print but didnt know whether to get the Army printed jacket as I dont think i'd wear as much whereas this top satisfied my desire for army print! and for £9.99 I cant complain! A bit late on the whole studded bag/focco bandwagon, I was so tempted to get the focco a while back but never got round to it until I saw this one in Select in birmingham, unlike the other focco or the real Alexander Wang Rocco bag the studs are on both ends of the bag instead of being on the bottom, being the little bit different than the others I nabbed it! I heart it dearly and have been wearing it non stop.

Primark A/W 2012

Sorry to be a bad blogger AGAIN! but as always life gets in the way and if you work in retail you know how busy summer sales can be!

A Little update for you guys I'm going back to Uni this year to do a post grad! (Yay) I was so happy when I got accepted and really hope all goes well for me, I'm a bit excited, a bit scared and a bit nervous it'll be a whole new process but hope an enjoyable one. Its a one year full time course so will be pretty intense but at the same time I cant wait to show you guys how I style for Uni etc. as now I won't constantly be wearing my work uniform! :) Also if all goes well I should be a proud owner of a Macbook soon! I've never had one so don't know which one to go for (help) if you guys have one please let me know and if you would recommend it.

Anyway on to the main aspect of this post, September is upon us that  can means two fashion related things: 1.Fashion Week 2. Autumn(fall)/winter Fashion! both in which I'm so excited for, I've always preferred winter clothing to Summer as its so much more fun layering as well as my love for knitwear and tights! This Autumn Fall has all my favourite things involved: Leather, Studs and Burgundy! and below you can see Primark are on the game with their Autumn Winter Collection, I'm loving the monochrome patterns and the Khaki Jacket with the leather Sleeves. As most of the Stuff is already in shops now I would get them while you can !

R.I.P To The Girl You Use To See

Trying to add a bit of colour into my life ! haha even though most of what I'm wearing is black! the glasses are back again, these arent my real glasses but I would love to get something like their just a pfaux pair from good old primark. I absolutely fricken love this skirt! the print and different colours make this skirt so unique and something I would go for, its a bodycon skirt, not something I would go for usually but with my loose top from Primark I think it makes the perfect combo :)

I Won't Know Anybody There...

Recently I've been going through a Maxi Skirt/dress phase all I seem to wear is them! I guess I just love how comfortable and floaty they are while also making the outfit look a bit different. Even though I don't own many I have styled them all different ways, hopefully can show you more on here. I would describe today's look a bit more on the "geek chic" side, not really a fan of that word but its the only way I can describe it. I picked up this Maxi Skirt back in January in the River Island Sale for £5.00! its definitely getting its worth and I wish I picked up another colour because they had loads of them when I went. You cant really see my bag but its the Alexa inspired bags you get on eBay, mines is a mini version I bought ages ago so couldn't link you to the seller but you can still get it on eBay.

I'm on the hunt (again) for a nice bag for work and stuff wouldn't mind it being designer "inspired", have you seen any nice bags recently? I would like a black bag this time as believe it or not I don't own any proper black bags! Most of my bags are either tan or leopard print (leopard print lover) and as I said I'm loving black so why not get it now......

Payday Wishlist ! #001

It's that time of the month again when we start planning what to buy with our hard earnings as soon as it hits the bank (well me anyway) ! it's been very long month for me money wise and I cannot wait to get paid and treat myself to a few new things, I always seem to bookmark some things throughout the month so I thought to do a monthly post on all the things I would need love to have, I don't plan on getting all of them but this would help me narrow down what I want :) It also give you an idea whats available online too (win win) oh and sorry for the crap editing, the only way I know how to do this is through paint ! ( #ineedamac)

Pyjama Top and bottoms (Topshop £26.00) - How cute is this set and the top has a tie dye print on it, what more could you ask for!
Khaki Military Shirt (Topshop £36.00) - Khaki is meant to be a big trend in AW12 so this would be a good start to my collection, and I don't surprisingly have that many shirts.
Studded Collar Shirt (MissGuided £25.99) - I'm only starting to get into studded clothing and accessories and am absolutely loving them! Love this shirt and I think its a good price, could pair it with so many things and very versatile for both day and night.
Tapestry Slipper Shoes (Topshop £22.00) - total sucker for tapestry and don't know whether these are slippers or not but I would definitely wear them out.
Studded Loafers (Missguided £22.99)- Black with studding detail, need I say more....
Studded Denim Jacket (Topshop £90.00) So Ragged Priest have finally arrived on Topshops website, after hearing so much about them in bloggers world I would love to get something from that brand but the price for a denim jacket is a bit too much for me, looks like I might have to DIY my own !
Army Jacket (Topshop £48.00) The army jacket trend has been appearing here and there for a while now but only just started to explode everywhere, this is Topshops version which is a more structured look to a military jacket and not bad for the price, The Ragged Priest version has really nice studding detail and if you looking for a more casual look, Urban Outfitters one is great too, have you see them anywhere else?
Studded Platform Shoe Boot - (Missguided £40.99) this is like THE blogger shoes, although I'm not very good with wearing heels I've heard these are comfy so its worth a try.

Long Time.....

Its been a while since Ive posted here, I always think about blogging but never get round to actually writing  a blog post because I procrastinate but when I do post I seem to post a lot then all of sudden stop ! The crappy weather isn't helping either but when the sun decides to shine I'm taking pictures!

I thought I'd show a different way I would wear my converse, because of the unique colour I think you can't always wear it with everything so I prefer to stick with dark colours so they stand out and right now I'm going through a phase of wearing just black (like everyone else atm).

I know some shops have started their sale including Topshop, I'm waiting till the end of the month to buy anything but anyone find any bargains?

American Apparel "Lopez Canyon"

Although quite pricey for £7.00 a pop, I absolutely love the formulation on this nail polish, its so thick and creamy and leaves a 'nice' glossy finish, its my first AA nail polish but hopefully not my last ! bought this when I was in Camden back in February and thought this colour was pretty unique, its like a burnt orange with some red undertones and currently on day three and not a chip in sight :)

A peacefulness follows any decision.....

"A peacefulness follows any decision, even the wrong one."
~Rita Mae Brown

One thing I hate facing in life is making major decisions that has a big impact on me , but as I get older, anxiety seems to grow stronger, I really hope this is just a small phase and the decision that I make is a good one and that I don't regret it,  I really want to say what it is but I can't at the moment so when the right time comes all will be revealed guys :), I really liked this quote  and has helped me so I thought I would include it in this and I hope its inspires others who read it as well..

Enough of that and on to the outfit...

Went out for dinner and the cinema with some friends to catch up, nice to hear different opinions when your find trouble making decisions !, went to Nandos as per usual and went to see American Pie the Reunion, I haven't seen the previous ones but I don't think you would need to anyway. I opted for something comfy yet dressy to wear because I know I'd be sitting in the same spot for a while in the cinema ! I've really been enjoying recycling my wardrobe and wear really old things and finding new ways to wear them recently?  has anybody else been doing that ?

Mint

The weathers been so crap lately so my outfits are mostly taken indoors :( like I've said to most my customers you wouldn't think this was May ! Please let Summer 2k12 happen ! That aside my outfit today has been very versatile and comfy while running some errands I thought I would wear my new Converse for the first time and I love them ! If you watch my Youtube videos you know I was deliberating whether to get Converse or Vans whilst my friends were saying to get Vans, a lot of you were saying get Converse so I just went with my instincts and bought the Converses in Mint green ! :) (thank you all for your suggestions) I got mines Via Very.co.uk which arrived in good timing I have to say.

I love the colour of them, they look so summery and I know I'll get a lot of use out of them this summer and they are actually so versatile ! Ive also heard stories of how long they've lasted on people which I'm hoping mines will do too! I thought the best way to wear them was very plain outfits like this one today so my converse would stand out nicely :)
